Harvest Restoration Ministries Ten Years Later
Posted in Uncategorized on May 10, 2016 by Anthony Davis MinistriesLooking back over the ten years since we had our first service December 10, 2006, it certainly has been a journey. We held Bible study at my house for about a year every Saturday afternoon. Then on November 4, 2006 (after meeting with the people who would gather with us) we incorporated Harvest Restoration Ministries. We held our first service in my living room (those were the days) with about 10 people. As time progressed we have grown to about a faithful attendance of about 40 adults and 20 children (in total we probably have a total of 75-80 people associated with us). Our goal was never to be BIG but to be meaningful and impacting. We take quality over quantity. We are Christ-centered and Gospel oriented. We love what we do and have fun doing it. Take a look at this short video that describes who we are after ten years!
Pastor Anthony Davis preaching “The Just Shall Live By Faith”!
Posted in Uncategorized on November 6, 2013 by Anthony Davis MinistriesIn this sermon we take a look at the book of Habakkuk (chapter 1:13). Habakkuk was questioning God’s lack of intervention, while there so much corruption in Judah. God’s answer was to deal with the corruption by raising up an enemy to discipline Judah……the Babylonians. God’s response caused Habakkuk to ask, why would God use a more wicked nation than Judah (the Babylonians) to discipline Judah? God’s answer? Simply, the JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH. Trials of various kinds are used by God to ultimately bring us closer to Him. If we understand that, we’ll get through them and ultimately be closer to Him and He to us!
